TERMS & CONDITIONS

Savanah Marin Studio – Service Agreement

Booking services with Savanah Marin Studio constitutes acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions.

BOOKING & SERVICES

Booking confirms your appointment at the current rate and serves as agreement to these terms.

All services fall under one of the following categories: photography (families and portraits), event coverage, or business content and branding.

Service details, deliverables, and expectations will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Creative direction, posing, lighting, composition, and editing decisions remain at the sole discretion of the photographer.

Savanah Marin Studio reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if conditions become unsafe, inappropriate, or interfere with the ability to perform services.

PAYMENT & RETAINER

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all bookings unless otherwise stated in writing.

By providing payment information, the client authorizes Savanah Marin Studio to charge all agreed fees, including services, taxes, add-ons, and any outstanding balances.

Remaining balances must be paid prior to or on the day of the session unless otherwise agreed.

Final images or deliverables will not be released until full payment has been received.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling of standard sessions.

Event bookings should provide 5–7 days' notice when possible.

Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred once at the photographer’s discretion.

Savanah Marin Studio reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances.

PHOTOGRAPHY (FAMILIES & PORTRAITS)

Applies to family sessions, maternity, couples, and headshots.

Session time is reserved exclusively for the client. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without refund.

Final galleries include only edited images selected by the photographer.

Basic editing is included. Additional or extensive editing requests may incur additional fees.

EVENT COVERAGE

Applies to parties, showers, and private events.

Coverage is based strictly on booked time. Additional time must be approved and paid for.

The photographer is not responsible for missed moments due to delays, timeline changes, or lack of coordination.

Image quantity will vary depending on the event.

Highlight videos are only included if specified in the selected package.

BUSINESS CONTENT & BRANDING

Applies to branding sessions, real estate media, and content creation packages.

Clients are responsible for preparing all spaces, products, and materials prior to the session.

The photographer is not responsible for staging unless agreed upon in advance.

Clients are granted commercial usage rights for marketing and promotion of their business.

Images may not be resold, transferred to third parties, or used for paid advertising campaigns without additional written permission.

TURNAROUND & DELIVERY

Estimated turnaround times are as follows:

Real estate media: 24–48 hours

Business content and branding: turnaround time varies based on the scope of the project and selected package. Delivery may range from 24–48 hours for smaller sessions to 1–2 weeks for larger content packages.

Events: 5–10 business days

Photography sessions (family, portraits, branding): 2–3 weeks

Turnaround time may vary depending on workload, season, and project scope.

Turnaround timelines begin after the session date and once full payment has been received.

Final images are delivered through an online gallery or digital delivery system.

Unedited or RAW images are not provided unless otherwise stated.

Expedited or rush delivery may be available for an additional fee if requested in advance.

PRODUCTS & DIGITAL FILES

All digital files and delivered galleries are final sale and non-refundable.

Physical products are non-refundable once ordered.

Sales tax may apply where required.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are responsible for being on time and ensuring all participants, locations, and materials are prepared.

Delays caused by the client may reduce session time without refund.

The photographer is not responsible for cleaning or preparing locations unless agreed in advance.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Clients must notify the photographer if any participant is ill or has been exposed to a contagious illness.

Sessions may be rescheduled at the photographer’s discretion.

COPYRIGHT & IMAGE OWNERSHIP

All images and media created by Savanah Marin Studio are protected under U.S. Copyright Law.

The photographer retains full copyright ownership.

Clients are granted a limited usage license based on the service booked.

Photography and event clients may use images for personal use.

Business clients may use images for marketing and promotional purposes.

Images may not be altered, filtered, or edited without permission.

MODEL RELEASE

Clients grant permission for images to be used for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.

Clients confirm they have permission from all participants or guardians.

OPT-OUT POLICY

Clients who do not wish for their images to be used must submit written notice prior to the session.

If no written notice is received, consent for usage is assumed.

EDITING & CREATIVE RIGHTS

Final images reflect the photographer’s artistic style.

The photographer retains full discretion over image selection and editing.

Additional editing requests may incur fees.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Savanah Marin Studio is not liable for missed moments due to client behavior, event conditions, weather, or restrictions.

The photographer is not liable for equipment failure, data loss, or unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In the event services cannot be completed, liability is limited to a refund of payments received.

ACCEPTANCE

Booking services confirms that the client has read, understands, and agrees to all terms outlined in this agreement.
